**BREAKING NEWS**BREAKING NEWS**

MK MIKINAN OUT OF ACTION INDEFINTELY

It’s our unfortunate obligation to inform you all that AWW Champion MK Mikinan is out of action indefinitely, and will no longer be defending the AWW Title this Sunday at The Asylum.

Please be assured that while wrestling is indeed entertainment, this situation is 100% real, and is not part of any storyline or angle. Right now everyone at AWW would like to send their best to MK Mikinan, and we all wish him a speedy recovery.

Mikinan has asked us to fill in you fans on the details of his absence, so everyone is aware of how serious the situation is. MK was rushed to hospital in the past week, where it was discovered that there were some irregularities with his heart. After further testing doctors have told Mikinan that there may be some problem with the main artery to his heart, and he is now required to see a specialist regarding this.

MK has been placed under strict doctor’s orders to not undertake any physical activity for at least the next 4 weeks, until a specialist can give him a full assessment. Unfortunately for you fans this means that MK is no longer able to compete in his championship match this Sunday. The champion will be in attendance though, as he feels he owes the AWW fans an apology for him not being able to take part in the match.

Once again let me make it very clear that this has nothing to do with any angles or storylines in AWW, and that MK Mikinan is genuinely out of wrestling for the time being. We again send out our thoughts and wishes to MK, as I’m sure you people out there do too.

Thanks for understanding

-AWW

No Holds Barred Match

Dan Ryder vs. “The Assassin” Dave Williams

Dave Williams new attitude seems to have worked wonders for him, with the newly rechristened “Assassin” pushing Dan Ryder to his very limits at their Yardley Wood clash. In fact many of the crowd thought Williams had the match secured until Ryder took the coward’s way out and got himself disqualified.

Williams was not happy with the result of this match, and after speaking with Commissioner Jones, the decision was made for Ryder and Williams to face off once more, but this time under No Holds Barred Rules. We’ve seen before the Dan Ryder will put his body through anything to secure the win in these kinds of matches, but has the Cockney Rebel finally bitten off more than he chew by crossing The Assassin?

Derrice Coffie vs. Anarchy

The news of MK Mikinan’s forced hiatus had barely died down, when we received word at AWW Headquarters from the Scum of Brum, Anarchy. The Prince of Punk ranted at length regarding Derice Coffie, professing to be the man who “got Derice into the business to begin with!” Anarchy has thrown down the gauntlet, offering to step into the spot left behind by MK Mikinan, and take on Derice at The Asylum.

The Number One Contender, although disheartened that he isn’t wrestling for the AWW Title, quickly accepted the challenge, stating that e got where he is off his own back, and that his recent success had nothing to do with Anarchy. The Scum of Brum responded by saying that “scum like Derice Coffie don’t deserve title shots, and I’m gonna show everyone how much of a waste of space Derice is! If I can’t beat Derice at The Asylum, then I’ll never wrestle again!” Commissioner Jones took this boast on board, and has decided to hold Anarchy to his word. If The Prince of Punk doesn’t win on Sunday it will be the last time he wrestles in an AWW ring! Will Anarchy be able to cool down the hot streak that Derice has been on lately?

“The Rockstar” Spud & “The Sheriff” JK Royde vs. T-Bone & ???

Spud is still livid with T-Bone. So livid in fact that the former champion is now completely fixated on his hatred of his former bodyguard. In an effort to bring T-Bone’s new found lease of life to a tumultuous ending, The Rockstar has gone out and recruited what he refers to as “the best back-up money can buy”. Back up that comes in the form of the STILL Undefeated Sheriff JK Royde. Royde has faced many challenges, and is still constantly bragging about taking Nick Knight out of wrestling permanently, but he will have his hands more than full with the behemoth T-Bone.

Commissioner Jones has also taken an interest in this match, after being temporarily blinded by Royde during their match at Yardley Wood. Lucian has announced that he has a very special partner in mind for T-Bone, which you have to believe spells nothing but trouble for Spud and Royde. Who will T-Bone’s mystery partner be? The Commissioner has been keeping tight lipped, but assures us all will be revealed on the night...

Joey Starr vs. Lee Hunter

Joey Starr made a triumphant debut at our Yardley Wood show, beating Tenacious Lee in the process. Now Starr is looking to shine a little brighter by getting a big win under his belt. Joey Starr has officially challenged Lee Hunter, hoping he can overcome one half of the Hunter Brothers and move another rung up the ladder.

Joey may have taken on more than he can handle in Lee Hunter though, not only were the Hunter Brothers finalists in the AWW Tag Team Tournament, Lee has also proved he is more than capable in singles competition. Will Joey Starr make his name at Lee Hunter’s expense, or will Hunter show the newcomer exactly what it takes to make it AWW? Find out this Sunday at The Asylum!
